Requests may be denied for reasons such as: too many teachers already being absent, too many days off in a short period that could impact student learning, or if the request falls during a critical time such as Certificate of Merit preparation, recital season, or other important studio events. Additionally, if the request is submitted with too little notice to find appropriate coverage, the time off may be denied.
