Steive keeps The Wonder Note running smoothly behind the scenes. He manages day-to-day operations, coordinates staff, and supports both clients and the team to create a welcoming and organized studio environment.
With over 15 years of leadership experience, including nearly a decade as a Program Director in adult day health care, Steive brings a strong background in team management, operations, and people-focused service. He’s passionate about creating spaces where people feel supported—and believes in the power of music to connect and uplift.
Steive holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

HANA K

STUDIO RECORDINGS ABLEWith nearly three decades of stage experience and over 15 years of mentoring young musicians, Hana is deeply passionate about both performing and nurturing the next generation of creatives. She is dedicated to creating an environment where students receive engaging, personalized lessons while also developing skills beyond music—such as songwriting, confidence, and performance.
After nearly a decade of teaching in the South Bay, Hana founded The Wonder Note in 2019 as a music learning hub, later expanding with a storefront in 2023. She now operates two studio spaces that serve as creative havens for musicians of all levels. Through her work, students have gone on to be signed with major labels, attend top music schools, or pursue music as a meaningful creative outlet.
As a solo performer, Hana has released two albums, one EP, and multiple singles. She has performed at renowned venues such as The Ford Amphitheatre and The Hotel Café, and has shared her expertise at over 20 universities across the U.S. and internationally.

TOMMY P.

Tommy is a singer-songwriter, pianist, vocalist, and guitarist passionate about sharing music through education. He began classical piano and voice lessons at age 7 and continued through college, while also performing in church choirs from age 9.He earned a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music with a focus on piano and performance from William Jessup University, where he led the tenor section and Crossroads, a vocal and live band ensemble. He also advanced to Hollywood Week on American Idol, earning a golden ticket from Keith Urban, Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj.
At The Wonder Note, Tommy serves as Assistant Director, where he oversees the recording department and plays a key role in running student projects. He works closely with students to bring their musical ideas to life—from recording and production to developing their sound as artists.
After college, Tommy performed at festivals and small venues throughout Sacramento and Los Angeles. In 2017, he launched his artist project, Tommy Boi, amassing over 4.2 million streams on Spotify.

CADEN P.

CERTIFICATE OF MERIT INSTRUCTORCaden Potter is a Los Angeles-based pianist and composer with 15 years of piano experience and 13 years of composition across genres including classical, jazz, pop, R&B, and salsa. He has taught piano for over 8 years and holds a BA in Global Jazz Studies from UCLA, where he studied under renowned musicians and earned a Recording Audio Engineering certification.
At The Wonder Note, Caden serves as Musical Director for performances and events. He oversees the studio band, leads musical arrangements, and directs all performances—ensuring each show is executed at the highest level. He works closely with students to develop their musicianship, stage presence, and ability to perform as a cohesive ensemble.
With over 8 years of performance experience, Caden has played at festivals and venues such as the Folsom and Mammoth Jazz Festivals, UCLA’s Royce Hall, and the Catalina Jazz Club. In 2022, he performed at the NAMM Show for Yamaha’s CFX Concert Grand debut. He also has recording experience at UCLA’s studios and continues to expand his musical knowledge through both performance and study.

HANNAH C.

Hannah Cabral is a Brazilian film composer, pianist, and guitarist based in Los Angeles. Teaching private lessons since 2012, she finds joy in helping students grow on their musical journeys. Her love for music began with guitar lessons from her family and expanded to classical piano at the Conservatory, where she developed a passion for harmony, ear training, and music theory. Hannah earned a degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music, specializing in Video Game Scoring. At Berklee, she embraced the diverse community, learning from peers of different cultures.Hannah composed the music for the video game Your Average Bear, released on Steam in 2023, and scored the documentary Alive (2023). She believes that music is a form of communication and emotion, and she finds great fulfillment in sharing this living art with her students.

Grace Rahn is a versatile vocalist skilled in various vocal techniques, including musical theatre, classical, choral, and jazz. Her journey in music began at the age of five, where she delved into musical theatre and choral music. Throughout high school, she expanded her repertoire by studying classical vocals, eventually earning her BA in jazz vocals from UCLA.Beyond her formal training, Grace is a dedicated songwriter and producer, investing her spare time in crafting original songs across a spectrum of styles, from jazz/RnB to singer-songwriter compositions.

RICHARD W.

Richard Wang, a Brazilian composer, arranger, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist born in Munich, Germany, began his musical journey at five with piano and violin, later focusing on guitar. He won national classical guitar competitions and performed on TV Brasil’s Partituras in 2016.At 19, Richard shifted to composing and studied piano in Vienna and Munich before transferring to Berklee College of Music. He graduated summa cum laude in 2021, scoring films like Joan in Love and The Binding of Itzik.
In 2022, Richard arranged and conducted James Newton Howard’s Harvey Two Face for a commencement concert, then moved to Los Angeles. He joined Bleeding Fingers, collaborating on projects like Prehistoric Planet II, Camila Cabello’s "Take Me Back Home," and Planet Earth III, and composed for Mountain Men and Welcome to Plathville. His music is featured on Extreme Music.

NICK B.

Nick Baxter, a Pittsburgh native, grew up with diverse musical influences. After high school, he toured and did session work while attending Robert Morris University. In 2007, he joined The Morning Light, touring with bands like All Time Low and Phantom Planet and reaching #27 on the Billboard Heat Seekers chart.Nick moved to LA in 2010 to study at the Musicians Institute, graduating in 2012. He then taught music in Thailand, touring Southeast Asia and winning 1st place in the Trinity College School of Rock and Pop competition. Back in Pittsburgh, he became a sought-after drummer, recording and performing with local artists.Nick toured with Josh Herbert, opening for The Chicks on their 2016 summer tour. Since moving to Southern California in 2017, he has played with artists like Fully Fullwood, La Bamba, and DJ Burt Blackarach.

From an early age, He felt attracted towards sound, more specifically Film and Videogame music, thus his musical journey began with a game called Half Life. He pursued Jazz Studies at Pontificia Universidad Catolica, and later further expanded his education at Berklee College of Music with majors in Screen Scoring and Professional Music. His favorite Scores are Hans Zimmer's Interstellar, Danny Elfman's Spiderman, Mike Morasky's Half Life Alyx, Gareth Cooker's Ori and The Blind Forest.

GUITAR, BASS, & UKULELEPaulina Aguirre is a guitarist, film composer and music producer from Medellin, Colombia currently based in LA. She first picked up the guitar at 8 years old and went on to study several different techniques such as fingerpicking, slide playing, and different genres ranging from Blues, Bossa, Rock, jazz, and Neo-Soul. She later continued her journey at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2021.
Since graduating, she has been building her portfolio as an upcoming film composer writing music for advertisements as well as assisting and writing additional music for composer Pierre Charles, co-composer of Netflix’s Inventing Anna and They Cloned Tyrone.

VOICEGabriela is a results-focused vocal instructor dedicated to helping singers achieve vocal freedom. Whether you're a beginner finding your voice or a professional refining your technique, her practical, personalized approach supports growth, confidence, and artistry.
With over a decade of training under top Los Angeles vocal coaches, degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Production, and ongoing studies in voice pedagogy, Gabriela brings both expertise and passion to her teaching.
As a vocalist and percussionist, her work spans international film releases, streaming platforms, and major music libraries. Highlights include vocal contributions to Amazon Studios’ Sayen, The Belko Experiment, and collaborations on Sony music releases such as Premonition and Terra.

Classically trained since age 4, Keira shifted gears after graduating from Musicians Institute, Hollywood’s leading contemporary music school, in 2012. At MI, she gained insights rarely covered in traditional lessons, which became the foundation of her teaching. When she began teaching in 2013, she committed to bridging the gap between classical and contemporary music, blending creativity with discipline. Her mission is to demystify unconventional music learning methods and integrate digital production and technology, helping students develop a deep, personal connection with music that fosters lifelong joy and creativity.Keira is also an R&B recording artist and music producer, releasing the singles “Jade” and “Yours” from her self-produced album Ethereal in 2022.

PIANO & COMPOSITIONSara Maeng is a music composer with experience in multimedia genres, including musical theater, film, and video games.
Alongside her theater work, Sara has contributed to major global video games at Blizzard Entertainment, including World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, and Hearthstone, etc, bringing her expertise in composition, arranging, and immersive audio to gaming.
An award-winning composer, she has received honors at the Fem Festival and the Federico Cesi Festival in Florence, Italy. Sara was also a finalist at the Musica per Archi Competition 2023, with the final concert held at the Ukraine Philharmonic. -

AIRI O.
INSTRUCTOR FOR:
VIOLINAiri Ozawa is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance at California State University, Long Beach. She has been playing the violin for over 18 years and has performed with various orchestras for more than a decade.
One of her most notable experiences includes performing at Carnegie Hall as Assistant Concertmistress. Through her extensive ensemble and performance background, Airi brings both musical depth and leadership to her work.
In addition to performing, Airi teaches private violin lessons to students of all ages. She is passionate about helping students build strong technical foundations while fostering a genuine love for music.
